Volunteer - First Impressions Team

Do you believe that first impressions make a huge impact?  That creating an atmosphere of warmth, welcome, and safety is a must in preparing people to receive the message of Christ?  Yes?  We do too!
Interested in helping shape the first impressions at Campus? Here's how you can help:

  • Traffic - direct traffic flow and assist with parking
  • Parking Lot Shuttle - provide transportation for guests and members from the parking lot to worship and class locations
  • Greeters/Guides - warmly welcome guests, hand out information, help guests find their way
  • Welcome Center Attendant - provide guest check-in, information on classes/special events, assist with event sign-ups
  • Usher - greet guests and assist with seating
  • Connection Café - serve coffee to guests and members
  • Security - provide safety for members and guests (training provided)
  • Medical Team - respond to medical emergencies on premises (training and CPR certification provided)

Volunteer - Connection Ministry

At Campus, we want our guests and members to find Jesus. You can help make that happen. How? Check our these opportunities below:

  • Be a Welcome Caller- make a simple phone call to say, "Hello and welcome."
  • Be a Connection Partner - help connect guests and members to groups or ministries where they can experience fellowship, support, and the joy of serving. And, you can fill this role from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a computer and an internet connection.
  • Provide Connection Ministry Support - help provide behind-the-scenes office support and assist with mailings and data entry.
  • Serve coffee at the Connection Café - share a genuine conversation with a Campus guest or member over a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
  • Serve with the Prayer Team - help receive & pray with people after the worship service on Sunday mornings.

Volunteer - Community Involvement

We want your experience within the Campus Church walls to be first-class. Our desire is that, while here, you'll connect with others and, most importantly, with Jesus Christ. But, we also want the church to leave the building. We want to impact the world around us -- locally and globally! Volunteer - Technical Support

Got technical skills? Wondering how to use them to serve others? Wonder no more. We live in a wired world. At Campus we believe technology is an important part of what we do. If you've got skill in some of those "tech" areas, we need you. Here are a few of the ways you can help:

IT

  • Computer support
  • Database administration
  • Website maintenance

Technical Arts

  • Equipment operators and assistants - help run our audio-visual equipment on Sunday morning and for other events (training provided)
  • Student Ministry A/V Support - help with the Audio-Visual elements related to events and activities in Student Ministry (training provided) 
  • Kids' World A/V Support - help with the Audio-Visual elements related to events and activities in the children's ministry (training provided)
  • Technical Support  - prepare and duplicate CD and DVD media, help with research as related to the Technical Arts, etc. 

Volunteer - Kids' World

At Campus, we take our children seriously. We want kids to have fun, interact, be creative, and most importantly, learn about the love of God. Check out our Kids' World Ministry here. If you want to get involved and make an eternal difference in the life of a child, here are some oppportunities:

  • Nursery (infants through toddlers) – interact, cuddle, teach, feed and rock our smallest members. They will melt your heart.
  • Preschool (includes 2-4 year olds) – teach, play, read, do simple crafts. You will be unconditionally loved by this precious age group.
  • Early Elementary (kindergarten- 3rd grade) – teach, play, do simple crafts, and hear about their week at school. An opportunity to make a friend for life.
  • 4th, 5th grade ministry – teach, play, lead small groups, pray for and enjoy this special age group. Be Jesus in the life of an impressionable soul.
  • Buddy – interact and provide loving assistance for children with special needs and disabilities. A joyous and rewarding experience. (instruction & training provided)
  • Materials – lend your creative talents and organizational skills to coordinate and reproduce materials for classroom use. You can be a teacher’s best friend!

Volunteer - Student Ministry

Today's teens encounter lots of challenges and pressures. Can you help them navigate the culture we live in today? At Campus our goal is to prepare our teenagers for the next chapter of their life. Do you want to help? Here are some ways you can:

  • Small Group Facilitator - help students have meaningful conversations regarding their life, their faith, and their future, and, develop a relationship with them that makes a difference in their lives
  • Tech Assitance - help make the Audio-Visual magic, that happens in the Undergroung teen center possible
  • Underground Cafe - serve beverages and snacks before and after various Campus Student Ministry events and activities
  • Welcome Crew - help make Student Ministry guests feel welcome and help them connect
  • Student Connections - help the Campus Student Ministry stay connected with students - send cards, make calls, build relationships
  • Event Support - provide various support for the various Campus Student Ministry activities and events
  • And, there are lots of other ways you can help...

Volunteer - Art & Media

Are you creative? Then we need you. There are lots of ways you can use your creative side to help Campus reach others and be a part of making a difference. Wondering how you can use those creative talents? Here are a few of the ways:

  • Writing and proofing - help insure that all of our communication is high-quality, accurate, and error-free
  • Graphic Design - help create graphic elements for various Campus promotional and communication pieces
  • Web - help maintain and improve the Campus Church website
  • Vocal - Click here to email Randy about Praise Team opportunities
  • Creative Media - use photography, video, and other creative elements to help build bridges of connection to our worship service and other activities and events

Volunteer - Misc. Service
