Karen Blackman passed peacefully from this life Monday morning, February 2. She was in the arms of her mother, Jane Blackman. Crowell Brothers funeral home will be in charge of arrangements. 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA 30092 - (770) 448-5757. There will be a visitation Tuesday afternoon at Crowell Brothers from 4pm till 7pm. The funeral will be at the Greater Atlanta Christian School Long Forum at 4pm Wednesday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Greater Atlanta Christian School or Georgia AGAPE.
Trish Betterton’s brother, Jim Hannah, passed away Monday morning, February 2. Arrangements are not yet known.
Nancy Sapio’s brother, Bill Weaver, passed away unexpectedly late Friday afternoon, January 30. The funeral was Monday, February 2 at 11:00 AM in Canton, GA.
Sharon Mitchell’s mother, Mary Hinson, passed from this life on Friday, January 30. Funeral arrangements are being handled by McDonald Funeral Homes in Hohenwald, TN. Tuesday will be the visitation followed by a short service.
RECOVERING FROM SURGERY:

PRAYER CONCERNS:
Ron Hicks will have surgery on his lower back on Thursday, February 5.
Belle (McKinzey) Shackelford fell Monday morning at her home and broke her right femur and her hip. She had just come home from rehab this past Thursday following surgery and recuperation on her other hip. She’s at Northside Hospital in traction and is tentatively scheduled for surgery Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. She has been on Coumadin, and surgery cannot be done until her blood thickens. Visits are not encouraged at this time because she is weak and suffers from panic attacks. You may want to send her a card, however. She’s in room 248.
