SYMPATHY:
Longtime Campus member, Froud Burns, passed from this life on Monday morning, September 8, 2008. Funeral services were Wednesday at 11:00am at the Bill Head chapel.
PRAYER CONCERNS:
Cindy Kilpatrick’s mastectomy is scheduled for Friday morning at Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth. Her doctors are reassuring her that this was caught early. She will receive chemotherapy treatment.
Judy McMahan is scheduled for surgery Tuesday, September 16 at 7:30 a.m.
Carol Harsh will have partial knee replacement surgery on Thursday, September 25.
Karen Blackman is still recovering from multiple surgeries at Gwinnett Medical Center. When doctors say she's ready, she'll be transferred to a rehab center. Short daytime and evening visits are encouraged. No one is needed to spend the night at this time. Jane expresses her deep love and appreciation to all those who've been praying and helping in so many ways.
Larry Gentner got a good report from his oncologist. The tumors all are significantly smaller. The chemo will continue, minus one chemical that is causing some loss of feeling in his fingers.
Hall Irby has been moved from Piedmont Hospital to Decatur Hospital for rehab and nutrition therapy. He will be there for 1 to 2 weeks.
Luke Davis has a complete tear of 3 ligaments and a shredded tendon in his ankle. Prayers are requested that the right decisions and treatment will be made for his recovery so he can continue to play football.
Randy Moore is recovering from surgery to repair 3 herniated disks in his neck. He is already experiencing some relief from pain.
Lucille Hannah (mother of Trish Betterton), is recovering from surgery to repair broken bones, suffered in a fall. She is at Life Care Center of Lawrenceville, 210 Collins Industrial Way, Lawrenceville, GA 30043, room 218B.
