SYMAPTHY:

Tom Ingram, Donna Irwin's father and Clay and Brent's grandfather, passed away 12/24. Funeral services were held on Saturday, 12/27.

Jim McGuire's mother, Mrs. Evelyn McGuire, passed away 12/23, unexpectedly. Funeral services were in Tuscumbia, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mars Hill Bible School, 698 Cox Creek Parkway, Florence AL 35630, Attn: Memorial Gifts.

Gwen Duriez’ mother passed away 12/22.

 

PRAYER CONCERNS:

Belle McKinzey Shackleford is having hip replacement surgery (again) at Northside Hospital today. Following surgery she will remain at Northside about 4 days then transferred to Lifecare of Lawrenceville on Collins Industrial Way for 3 weeks. 

Greg Kendall had successful sinus surgery last week. He is at home recovering.

Susan Sibley had emergency surgery Christmas day for diverticulitis.

Giovanni Bruschi's biopsy results came back sooner than expected. The results showed that the tumor is not cancerous. Surgery will be scheduled in a few weeks to remove the tumor.

Jim McGuire has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. A bone scan and MRI have determined that the cancer has not spread to the bones. Consults are being scheduled to determine the best protocol.
