SYMPATHY:
A funeral service for Leonard Glasgow is planned for Saturday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Campus Church. Visitation is scheduled for an hour prior at 10:00 a.m.
PRAYER CONCERNS:
Betty Richardson is improved Friday morning. The internal bleeding stopped on its own during Thursday evening. She has been given 2 units of blood, to get her count back up. There may be additional tests today … uncertain about this. No visitors for now, but short phone calls would be OK. Room 504 Northside Hospital.
Trenise Grill was admitted into Gwinnett Medical in Duluth Thursday, October 9 for chest pains. The doctors ran hours of tests and discovered a blood clot in one of her lungs. They are working to dissolve the clot, but she will have to remain in the hospital for 4 or 5 more days. She is being moved out of ICU today to a regular room.
Leonard Glasgow was driving his kids, Yvannie, Mahalia, David and Leonard Jr. to school Monday, October 6, when they had a wreck pulling out of the neighborhood. Leonard Sr. was killed. Yvannie and Mahalia were taken to Atlanta Medical Center, David and Leonard Jr. were taken to Egleston. The kids are in stable condition, but will remain in the two hospitals for observation and surgeries as needed. David is stable in ICU and Leonard Jr. will have surgery Tuesday afternoon. Delmira Earlington-Glasgow (mother) and Melanie (child) were at home.
Kim Hinton has been diagnosed with new tumors. These are very small and are in her brain. Doctors have a specific treatment protocol planned.
Jack Covington is St. Joseph’s hospital for one more night. He apparently had an occurrence of pancreatitis and was in a great deal of pain for a while. He’s much better now, but doctors want to observe him just a bit longer.
Karen Blackman is at Joan Glancy room 208 for several weeks for rehab therapy.
