Elders

Bill Burton
Bill and his family have been members of Campus Church since 1980. He has been a deacon and Bible class teacher at all levels from early childhood through adult. Bill serves as the contact elder for Campus Church Youth Ministry.

Jim Combee
Jim and his wife Becky have been members at Campus since 1972. Jim first served as a deacon. In 1989 he was appointed an elder serving for eleven years, at that time, as contact elder for youth, worship, and building construction.

Dr. David Fincher
Dr. Fincher and his family have been members of Campus Church since 1976. He teaches various Bible classes and serves in helping shepherd Campus worship, planning, and missions. David and his wife Beth have three adult children, Matt, Kim and Stephanie, and a growing number of grandchildren!

Ozzie Giles
Ozzie & Valencia have been a part of the Church of Christ since the late 70’s. Ozzie was baptized on October 4, 1981. Ozzie teaches bible study at Gwinnett Detention Center as a part of the Campus Jail Ministry.

Randall Jackson
Randall and Nancy Jackson have lived in Gwinnett since 1978 when they moved from Paducah, KY when Randall accepted the business officer position at Greater Atlanta Christian School. They placed membership at Campus at that time and Nancy served the congregation as the church bookkeeper for 18 years.

Walker Kendrick
Walker and his family have been members of Campus Church since the beginning in 1972. Walker has served as deacon, adult Bible class teacher, Upreach leader and has been the contact elder for education since 1991.

Don Latham
Don and Charlotte came to Campus in 2007 after being members a North Atlanta for about 25 years. Don works in real estate with his daughter and son. Don and Charlotte worked in full-time ministry for 25 years. Five of those years they served as missionaries in Trinidad.

Malcolm Ligon
Malcolm and Gwendolyn moved from Birmingham, Alabama to Georgia in 1988. Malcolm is currently the Network Manager for Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, Georgia.

Jesse Long
Jesse has been a member of Campus Church and one of its elders since the beginning of the congregation in 1972. For sixteen years he served as one of the pulpit ministers. Jesse and his wife Marilyn have five children and sixteen grandchildren.

Tommy Tabor
Tom and his wife Robin have been attending Campus for 35 years. He has served at Campus as a Deacon and an Upreach Leader and has also worked with the youth program for many years. Tom and Robin have been married for 25 years and have 3 children.

Ken Townsend
Ken is known as the husband of Annabelle Townsend, to whom he has been married for 25 years. He is a lucky dog. They have two children, Abigail and Caleb. They have a dog named Bo. Ken tries to teach Biology and Bible at Greater Atlanta Christian School.

Dale Van Hooser
Dale and his family have been members since moving from Nashville in 1993. Dale and Cathy have two daughters , Kelly Carter of Nashville (married to Clint), and Katie. Cathy works at Great Atlanta Christian School and Dale works at Georgia-Pacific as Senior Director, Information Technology.

Charles Westbrook
Charles Westbrook and family have been members of Campus Church since 1974. He has been an elder since 1987 and presently serves as the contact elder for connections and jail ministries. Charles served as a Campus deacon for 11 years prior to becoming an elder.
