CAMPUS MEMBER PRAYER CONCERNS:

Campus member Mary Kicklighter passed away Wednesday 7/1.  Bill Head Funeral Home,  6101 Hwy. 29 in Tucker is handling arrangements.  Visitation is Sunday 7/5 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the Chapel.  Burial will be at 4:00 PM in Athens GA.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Georgia AGAPE, Inc., 3094 Mercer University Drive, Suite 200, Atlanta GA 30341, or  AGAPE of Central Alabama, PO Box 230472,  Montgomery AL 36123-0472.  We offer our love and sympathy to Mary’s sister, Marge Renahan and family at this time.

 

Monique Evans’ grandmother Camille Welsh, passed away on 6/30. Funeral services will be 7/6 in Miami FL.

 

Elaine McGuire is in DeKalb Medical, room 3482 for treatment of dehydration. Her stomach surgery is a bit slow healing and is a factor in the dehydration.

 

Craig Maddox will have a heart cath on Monday 7/6, at Emory Midtown (formerly Crawford-Long).

 

Belle Shackelford’s follow-up visit to her orthopedist revealed the fracture in her femur is not yet healed. She is looking at options that may be helpful in speeding up the healing process.

 

Debbie Long is recovering at home from pneumonia.

 

Ada Dunn had angioplasty surgery on 6/15 at St. Joseph’s and is doing well.

 

Lucille Hannah is now in home hospice care.

Beth Gentner’s sister, Nancy Bishop – leukemia . . . will undergo a stem cell transplant at MD Anderson soon.

Ramona Werner’s father, Pablo Bermudez – multiple health issues.

Sheri Means’ father, R.P. Lewis – is now in home hospice care.

Jerry & Peggy Porter’s son, Jeffrey Porter – surgery for colon cancer. Doing well, awaiting final report.
